1) In the beginning,
태초에

the Word already existed;
말씀이 이미 존재 하셨다.

the Word was with God
그 말씀이 하나님과 함께 하셨으니

and the Word was God.
그 말씀은 하나님이셨다.

2) From the very beginning
태초부터

the Word was with God.
그 말씀은 하나님과 함께 계셨다.

3) Through him God made all things;
그 분을 통해 하나님이 만물을 지으셨다;

not one thing in all creation
모든 피조물 중 어느 것 하나도

was made without him.
그 분 없이 지어진 것이 없었다.

The Valley of Dry Bones(Ezekiel 37)

Suddenly / as I spoke,
갑자기 / 내가 말하는데

there was a rattling noise / all across the valley.
요란한 소리가 났다 / 골짜기 전역에

The bones of each body / came together
각각의 몸의 뼈들이 / 함께 모여들더니

and attached themselves / as they had been before.
그것들끼리 서로 달라 붙었다 / 이전의 모습 그대로

Then as I watched, / muscles and flesh formed / over the bones.
내가 보고 있는 그때 / 근육과 살이 형성 되어서 / 뼈들 위에 덮었다.

Then skin formed / to cover their bodies,
그런 다음 피부가 형성되어 / 그들의 몸을 덮었다.

and the wind entered the bodies, / and they began to breathe.
그리고 바람이 몸 속에 들어가서 / 그들은 숨을 쉬기 시작했다.

They all came to life / and stood up / on their feet—

a great army of them.

but I am like a little child / who doesn't know his way around.
